The absolutly best and heaviest work of Paradise Lost. Brutal Death/Doom at its best, you cannot compare it to their new shit. Hear Nick Holmes grunting on this album and you cannot believe that he is the same guy singing on the gay Paradise Lost albums after "Draconian times".

Indeed one of the best doomdeath albums ever made, but I wouldn't call the later Paradise Lost gay at all. Anyway, sublime stuff here, pure classic!

Lost Paradise IS the best album of the band and for me maybe the best atmo-death metal album I know. Because it has everything needed, Power, loudness, depressive atmospheres, suicidal lyrics... A must.

reminds me alot of Darkthrone's Soulside Journey and even a little of Goatlord, but slower, and Holme's vocals are more shrilling

I love Paradise Lost, love doom, death and black sounds but didn't like this much. I didn't get the feeling this is unique piece of music. I tried few times to like it but still I don't.

Total death!! A must have for every death metal fan!Slow Hard and Heavy , just as i like it. The slow rifes are combined with melodic keyboards wich create an amaising atmosphere, the vocal totaly rules!!!! Amaising The best from Paradise Lost !!!
