wow! these are the true Anathema. Highly depressive art turned into music, I really can't find the words to describe it... You must feel it for yourself. Songs like "We, the Gods" will surely touch your heart... Let yourself be engulfed by this agonising masterpiece!!

If you are thinking about killing yourself, wait a minute and listen to this album. These melodies are worth to be heard before you leave this world! Maybe they will keep you alive. You will not find such ultradepressive beauty in hell!

After reading other reviews it is obvious some people see something in this music that i dont. So i must apologize for being a little harsh on the the crestfallen review. That said it is more of the same Lengthy slow sorrowful tracks but no female vocals on this one.

In 1995 originally offered as a mini-CD (?,-42 min.!). 5 great tracks such as "We, the Gods", and the totally cool 666-song as hidden track! The last album with Darren White on vocals. Sad, but true.

My favourite Anathema release ever, all the songs are HUGE, most go over 9 minutes, they sound so much more fluid than they were previously, it's still as heavy as all hell, I'd probably as go as far as to say they were heavier than My Dying Bride and Paradise Lost, they even play kind of fast again (for them anyway) in "Kingdom" and "Mine Is Yours To Drown In"

Damn, this is just so great...I think this is one of the best albums of Anathema alongside "Silent Enigma" (of course) and "Eternity", although they've never made a dull album in their career.
