this album alone with pestilence "consuming impulse"are part of th death metal bibble, this is heavy slow sometimes fast and sick, even melodic and depress, gory and demented chriss vocals are disgustigly good and the production makes the album sound really diferent than the rest of the productions from those times, its a must..

This is a great album. There are some really good riffs on here. This album is a lot different from most death metal albums coming out of '91. Lots of tempo variations, awesome drumming, great soloing and a fantastic production. Not fantastic as in a polished and precise (and boring) Morrisound recroding, this has real depth. Best material i've heard from the band so far. 9/10

I had this CD and burned it because it sucked! I'm a big fan of death metal, but this is a pathetic excuse for it(death metal). The production is really crappy. Don't waste your money on this shit!
