One of the best deathmetal albums ever made. Totally insane this is... One masterpiece after another is blown around in your ears... Ofcourse the title track is the best! | Review by: Flix the IVth Crusade is one of the best death metal records ever made.It still gives me the same destuctive feeling as more then 10 years ago! Everything on this record sounds superb. As soon as the title track starts you feel like driving a gigantic tank!This album deserves only one score; 100/100!!! After reading so much on the 4th Crusade, I was rather disappointed. OK, it's a massive wall of sound that does resemble big motorized lumps of iron, but I have'nt heard one interesting riff on the entire album. If you're after sheer brutality, the 4th Crusade works reasonably well for about fifteen minutes. After that, I need some Nocturnus or Pestilence to re-tune my ears. It's not bad. It's just a bit boring in the long run... Review by: Clouded Sky this lp signs the beginning of the sounds to become typical of bolt thrower. A martial masterpiece!!! Review by: o A very good album I would even put in the grindcore side of things. The rythmn guitars create a wall of sound in the background where lead really stands out and emphasizes melody. The drumming also adds to the ambiance and background with a distant echoey sound. Good variety on the album. Definitelt recommended. Review by: mmk11426
