Quite strange with a french band that kicks most of asses in the black scene nowadays. The sound is very fuzzy and muddy, very hard top penetrate. But when the album reveals itself Deathspell Omega shows their true essence. And the essence is pure evil. The album is not the worlds fastest and the sound could be better, also the vocals could be more obsessed. But Deathspell do have one thing that takes them higher than most of black bands today and that is their originality. I can`t compare with many bands. Sometimes they sound a little like Funeral mist in their devil worship but just a little. I recommend everyone to give this one a chance. Don`t like it? Well, then your either stupid or havent listened enough.
