wow, this is a true blastaway (did i just invent a new word?). this album captures all the good parts of the debut album and makes it better. much better in fact. i can't find one bad song or even one bad part in the whole album.
it's fast, it's melodic, it has great growls, great clean vocals and lots of really atmoshperic synth in it.
if you like melodic and fast metal, you can't afford to miss this one. check it out asap!
totally blows away "rapture"
8/10

This is the second inferno from Dragonlord, which is formed with members from the all-time thrash band Testament.
Once started as a project and the first release, now here comes their second attempt to play atmospherical melodic black/death.
And i must say it tastes pretty good!
Though the music itself is far from original, the band manages to come up with catchy riffs, and easy listenable compositions, which seem to keep hanging around in your head very fast.
The music itself has lots of heavy doomy/death/black parts, thrashy parts (which reminds me to the actual testament a LOT!)typical dimmu borgir kinda keyboards and lots of harmonical interlude's in between of the blasting and the more melodical parts.
Overall the sound and production is superb, the musical craftmanship well played, vocals performed nicely.
Don't buy if you only like "tr00, grim fuzzy produced BM".
However if you like melodic death/black with a little dimmu touch, i would really check this out if i were you.
Not very original, but very good musical craftmanship.
8.5/10
