I don't think they could have found a better title for this record. This album is evil as hell indeed, this 3rd full-length contains the most aggresive songs this band ever wrote. It is not a great departure from their last, as one can still hear the swedish influences, but this time it is uglier and meaner. Comparisons to Meshuggah are inevitable (well it's not a surprise considering members of Ebony tears are in Dogs faced Gods, a side-project that have very strong Meshuggah influences, to say the least) and overall, this album is a blistering assault of the senses, mixing aggressiveness with great riffs and a top-notch production and some depressive "i-am-sick-of-this-world" lyrics. Can't say it is a groundbreaking album (nothing new here) but it is indeed very pleasant, and that's the important part.

Much different to it's predecesor, less melodic and more in your face aggresive metal. Evil as hell is a cheesy name for an album, but this album smells far from cheddar. If you like fast violent tight sweedish metal buy this cd. To those of you who are already fans of this band, could you contact me saying if that double kick solo at the start of track 7 (I think it's that track) is for real?

One of my top 5 Swedish Death metal bands. Started out sounding like all the others, but I feel on this release they have truly broken away from the pack. Mark my words, these guys are gonna be big one day.
