Your Review:

A bit different from previous releases, Mephistopheles further their progressive brutality. Epic, vicious, and melodious, this is a bit heavier than 'Songs..' and 'Landscape Symphony'. The addition of Eike on vocals instead of Nordischer Kunstler is an interesting change, I think they're both amazing vocalists but they fit well into their respective chapters of this band's history. Tied with 'Songs Of The Desolate Ones', this is my favourite album by them, because the two really can't be compared.

9.5/10
