Mindfunk is a band that was little known when I started listening to them. About the same time as Monster Magnet and Monster Voodoo Machine were around. I absolutely loved this album and 'Sister Blue' is one of my all time favorites. They were never prey to the stereotypical rock scene going down at the time and remained true to the music. The guitar is out of this world as is the vocals. I have had this album for years and still play it. In fact, I linked Mindbomb up on my site with the current greats in Stoner/Doom/Metal rock. Because they deserve it and because they worked damn hard to deliver great music to the people. Just like Zodiac Mindwarp and Gruntruck have gained legendary underground status, so should Mindbomb.
