MORBID ANGEL always was one of my faves of death metal scene. No matter in what line-up they are they are powerful and very profesional in what they do. "Formulas..." is one of the best death metal releases of 1998, undoubtedly. The stuff is technical, mystic (parts in Shumerian) and strong. The change of rhythm and vocals creates very unique athmosphere. Just listen to the album and you will feel a real spirit of death metal in the best form it could be. Review by: Birute This is for me their best album , both deep in the atmospheres and musically very aggressive.
