Yes... What can I say about this album? | Is it a masterpiece? Yes it is. It is perfect! "Hünengrab im Herbst" sounds like deep melancholie in one moment and like pure hatred in the other moment. A great plus is (are) the voice(s). Clean vocals and Burzum-like, distorted screams can be heard parallel, which is at first of course unusual but it creates a special tension after a while, which I can't describe. "Hünengrab...", in my oppinion, is the best German album ever and one of the best Black Metal albums, as well! The songs are performed very tight and simply never get boring. For Cradle of Filth-Maniacs this album is a brutal kick in the balls but "real Black Metalheads" will love this album. Listening-Tips: 3.) Schwanengesang 5.) Bildnis der Apocalypse 7.) Der Flug des Raben 10/10 points Review by: Eviga Yes, this album is definitely worth picking up. Really good melodies throughout all songs. Song pace ranges from medium to very fast. There is a lot of atmosphere to this CD. My only complaint is that the snare seems a bit too overpowering at times. Very good album.
