Remember Seven Tears from Black Metal Ist Krieg? Well here's an album with the same style and tempo for about an hours listening. More slow and atmospheric, this album has a more melancholic, depressive undertone than Black Metal Ist Krieg. Which may be annoying for some.
The only thing that really bothers me about this album is the use of a digeridoo in the intro...

Fucking superb. Kanwulf has done it again, and this time with more emotion in his songwriting then ever before. Geliebte has 3 solid, epic songs (one with an alternate version) and an intro & outro to set the mood (of course). Nagaroth is definatly the type of black metal you have to experience alone in order to get the right feel for the music. Very dark, atmospheric and depressing! I love this album! For fans of Rasluka p.II or any other Nargaroth albums, definatly give this one an attentive listen cause its fucking worth it! \m/

Hail Black Fucking Metal

Boring cd. This is the most boring work from Nargaroth ever. I like his older cd's and Orke the most but this is plain boring music.

Ok I used to be strictly a Burzum fanatic and a fan of Nargaroth's Black metal ist krieg with the two traks 'seven tears..'
but this is a whole album of seven tears it is the most amazing album I think I have ever heard. It might even surpass varg...blasphemy!@! :O
no seriously, this is easily one of the best albums.
dedicated to bon scott of aussie's ACDC and a friend who commited suicide...maybe thats why the first track is aboriginal?....
anyway...i dont think it detracts from the album..!
this is great!!!

It seems that no one can recognize when someone records a bad album, and Kanwulf has done it with "Geliebte des Regens". "Herbstleyd" and the two parts of "Rasluka" are fucking awesome, and even "Black Metal Ist Krieg" is also a good album, but this release is boooooooring, really boring and totally lack of ideas!

This is easily Nargaroth's most epic, dark, depressing and overall best cd yet. Sure, its long and repetitive, but that creates a sort of tension in the music, and keeps you in a long depressed trance right from the start of Sometimes While She Sleeps. Don't buy it if you want an album like Herbstleyd or Black Metal Ist Krieg, because it's much different (in a good way). If you liked Nargaroth's repetitive and depressing songs like Into The Void, Amarok - Zorn Des Lammes II and Seven Tears Are Flowing To The River, then get this album, because all the songs here (save for the intro) are in that style, and all much more focused than the older similar songs. The only problem is that it costs a bit much for only 4 songs (not counting Calling The Rain or Sometimes While She Sleeps, alternate version), all you're really paying for is the nice cardboard digipack case. This album pisses all over Burzum, so get it!

10/10

in 2001 the band(nargaroth) accomplished another great albume it has six part at first the intro(calling the rain)
it has relation with the other parts and it completed the other parts of albume. the other part (manchmal wenn sie schlaf)is a great song too and it bigen with dipres method this has two parts and the other part is like this ,in my opinion the second part is more great than first part .and the best song of albume is WENN REGEN LIEBT ,this song is like waterfall and i suggest you to listen it. at the end the final part is outro and it is graet too.try to listen them .

Long time i feared to write this review: how can i find the words for a record that changed my life - how can i find the words for a record that ment everything to me - how can i find the words for a record that made me feel so much pain and so much depression?
i could drown in this record...kanwulf did awesome work, no doubt!

'sometimes while she sleeps'...how i love this track. how i love it's lyrics. i dream away to my woman...my 'doreen'...i dream away to the person i'll never get...to the person i'll never be allowed to love. i dream away and sail on the sea of my depression.
the outro/"Leb Wohl" could be one of the songs i'd like to hear when i get buried...it sumarizes an awesome record...maybe the most important record ever written, for my life.

this mood continues through the whole record...it made me sick...and will make you sick too...i promise if you have problems with depression...better lock up your knifes.....
