Ehhhh ... you can definately hear Slayer's "progression" out of the 80's style of thrash into the 90's style of "heavy" metal. By itself, it's a pretty decent album, but it gets compared to RIB, SOH, and SITA, and it gets bashed a lot. If you are a Slayer die hard, then buy it. If you are a thrash metalhead, don't buy it. If you aren't metal, then die! Picks: "Bitter Peace" is the only one that stands out to me.

What the fuck is this tripe? Polished production, boring drumming, guitars tuned a little bit too low, and hardcore/(c)rap vocal phrasing, annoying guitar samples/effects - this list of atrocities to Metal committed on this album goes on and on. I really don't see the point of this release. Sure, Slayer is exploring new territory, but the fact is that it's LOUSY territory and has been well trodden by so many flea bags before them. This is just another shit album to appeal to the mallcore wankers out there (I wonder what they'd do if they heard Slayer's masterpiece Haunting The Chapel >:-]), pure and simple. Instead of doing the right thing and QUITTING (hint, hint) the Slayer horde chose to put out a blistering turd of a commercially viable waste of packaging to keep themselves out of a real job (as though that should be the motive for being in a band, right?). Fuck them.

I've only heard Disciple from their "new" album God Hates Us All on a worthless comilation put out by the Christians at BW&BK and I'm in no rush to listen to it further. Maybe when I have cash to wipe my arse with I'll consider buying it so that I can put a hefty blow to it with a sledgehammer. A pox on you, Kerry King and Co. Please fucking DIE!!!

Hm... what is this??? It sounds like Slayer mix their slower songs with "Nu-Metal"?
Where is the speed? Where is the brutality? Where is the typical Slayer-Sound?

This is not really a bad album. (Slayer don't have really bad albums!) It's only "less good" then every other release.

after devine intervention this record was a dissapointment, stain of minds semi rapped vocals was and is really cringable. still there are some classic tracks such as scrum, but overall its lacks the kick, just sounds like they were going through the motions - especially the drumming - i expected so much more after his debut on devine intervention, but it sounds likes he's half asleep here.

Blahhh, a hip hop metal - that's what on this album. It's aggressive but not the way I like. Maybe nu-metal fans will like it. Old thrashers won't 4 sure.
