I´m an unconditional fan of this type of music, but this band don´t like me. This album is boring and principally repetitive. I think the better is the beautiful teen of the cover.

Slow and Emotional Goth/Doom Metal with alot of piano and other sytnezisers.. but itst wounderfull. I love the contrast , Dark Grunting Vocals Vs Almost opera Female vocals. Great long songs and alot of feeling into it. Nice cover to.

The best TOT's release, slow, dark, emotional music. I think it's darker than their debut, the best songs are Bring Forth ye Shadow, Teraphic Deviltry and Black as the Devil Painteth. Well, all the songs are very cool, is really a great doom release. Raymond and Liv's singing are amazing, and the artwork is beautiful. So... buy it !

Theatre of Tragedy is a gothic metal band from Norway and their album Velvet Darkness They Fear is a Gothic Metal classic. Perfect songs with the voices mixture of Liv Kristine and Raymond I. Rohonyi. In their sound keyboards and guitar create a magic and sad universe. The song Seraphic Deviltry is an example of this. I don’t have words to describe it, you must to listen. If you are a gothic metal fan you must have this album on your collection.

Wow this is what gothic bands should aspire to. This is some of the most beautiful and sorrowful music ever. You may have heard other bands try to copy them but this album is the original gothic doom death and the best to.

With this album suggests the band her debut album. The plate is very varied nevertheless remains the group to their style faithful. A really worthwhile successor. I can the album only recommend to anyone.
