1. A Poisoned Seed

There at the end where the lost ones are gathered
Stripped of refinement and free of all pride
If destiny allows me a place among them
It's there I hope to find her haunting smile once more

This ageing flesh so cold and worn
A fragile shell of a life forlorn
A shadow of the ghosts of old
This barren host to horrors untold
No mercy shown, a souls unrest
A daily dread with scant redress
Help me re-ignite my dormant passions flame
To breathe new life, to save my name

Cling to me, ease this troubled mind
Reveal the things to which I'm blind
Comfort the child that hides within
For he's enslaved by his fear

As mist surrounds a drowse returns
To haunt my mind so scarred and burned
Bow down and kneel before me ...your King
Join me in pitied slumber....aching

I ride the waves of anger
I bear a devils mark
I am of fire and thunder
And endless dark

I sow seeds of sorrow to reap my reward
I harvest the torture that nurtures my scorn

To walk among them where peace resides
I've searched the wastelands some faith to find
Through a maze of thorns beyond all fear
I see my brethren and they draw near


2. Her Haunting Smile

So sad I grieve alone
For from this heart all love has gone
And though these words are laced
The kiss I gave was forever
Withered are the Autumn leaves
The leaves that once filled the trees
In our lonesome Summer meadow
Alas her elegance forsakes her too

Cherished the air we breathe, now rancid, diseased
Betrayed by fates desire, the hollow words of thieving liars
A scent so pure, so free was lost to me
Consumed by falling grace, the Earth was laid to waste

Tears cannot erase the loss of a dream to which I cling
A fading memory of her smile I chase

In ever-deepening sorrow I dwell
Ever-lasting torment and pain
As I lay to rest her silent whispers tempting me
But as I rise....so far away
That smile I'm chasing is haunting me

Confess to me the fear which ails your heart
Devour my poisoned seed
Embrace the torment that I command
Forsake all thoughts of hope

Awake and feel my hate for you
Arise and share my pain
Behold my sickened hearts desire
I'll crawl through bone and blood for you no more

The night comes down, countless stars they shine in our spiral arm
The goddess of love in all her beauty glows with celestial charm
