Void of Silence The Sky Over 1. The Void Beyond Unfolded are the tapestries of time for us to gather among these ruins and raise them higher. Alone I've fought, alone I fell and mourn this shattered pride of ours through years of failures. What if days that never dawn are the same we're longing for? A promise torn asunder. What it takes to earn a soul? What it takes to sail across the void beyond. Everlasting famine, outrageously it grown. And the fire once we held still draws a path that never ends and leads to nowhere. It wraps around me, a spiral rising by a pale white coat benighted. Through the storming heat of acid blood I drown, I tried in order to reborn as me again. I've mould my fate from muddy waters, so behold the stained gold of irony. "It will not be the endless emptiness of hope to stifle such an ardent desire. A dawning painted in half. I'll be my own horizon so the eyes cannot be deceived." On a day of summer rain walking through my calvary, sight serene ahead. Someday I'll be again as an echoing lament for those who lie beneath the waves. "And our prayers collide at last over boundaries and limits." "I am one and a multitude of I." Am I free or enslaved to my will? 2. Abeona (or Quietly Gone in a Hiatus) instrumental 3. The Sky Over DAY 1 ---------- As i wander the quiet fields ahead every step I take plant the seed of regret And I've welcomed so many days now when daylight melts our hopes into dream. Sun has disappeared from sight again. My shadow lingers in the memory of light. I hold the fate of men, Unveiled our fears are nothing but ourselves left without something to kneel at Our wreckage has to come yet We're marching fearless just to stand still and silent. DAY 9 ---------- I see a darkness looming in the distance and I hear a silence blooming from the soil. All stars are framed and caressed by a static wind and crumble as it roars. DAY 19 ---------- I've starved our binding reason and yet we're followed but my shadows does not belong to me anymore. DAY 22 ---------- Onwards clouds are moving sideways. As the lives we leave behind. Endless white pulls us under. So pale yet so bright. DAY 33 ---------- Flames may be expired, the sky over shelters our will. I dream of crying but no tears see the morning light. A faded verse on a broken rhyme. My shadow has left this shores, soon I'll reach the other side. Set adrift with these words of mine. 4. Adeona (or Surfaced as Resonant Thoughts) instrumental 5. Farthest Shores THE MIRRORED NIHIL: Surrender all thy dreams at hand they brought you here for nothing Stranded on this flatland your blood on sharpened shivers still it's glowing THE SOURCELESS LIGHT: You drove your darkness into mine Drained all light from the cracks When the dust settles I'll be fine 'cause I'm not fighting you back. Astray and exiled I strive to leave the hole Altered shapes are blinding me as harmless idols to adore THE MIRRORED NIHIL: Resound the voice ahead weaving words of forgiveness Is that what I hear? THE SOURCELESS LIGHT: Tear the skies and let the floods in THE MIRRORED NIHIL: Am I here to soothe your agony? THE SOURCELESS LIGHT: Am I free or enslaved to my will? Ambition made me whole again THE SOURCELESS LIGHT & THE MIRRORED NIHIL: Are you there? THE SOURCELESS LIGHT: Riddles are collapsing crushed beneath the weight of unbearable truth revealed All the once were ignited Barely keeps alive our fragile breed Wide awake and screaming slips the song of the fallen ones THE SOURCELESS LIGHT & THE MIRRORED NIHIL: Eyes feed what eyes cannot see and free the one who's crawling alone Our dance of tongues and sinners isn't over yet Among us breathe the liar A token of thy faith as bread for the beggars THE SOURCESS LIGHT: As stories left unended As pages left unwritten the fate of what I seek THE MIRRORED NIHIL: Leave this isle of seclusion and share your pain with us THE SOURCELESS LIGHT: So I'll never find the answer... THE SOURCELESS LIGHT & THE MIRRORED NIHIL: Are we born ashes or dying flames? 6. White Light Horizon
